3mm Budget Garden Edging - Corten (Rusty Steel) 

Our Budget 3mm Garden Edging is well priced, but don't believe it's Budget quality. 

This range is designed as our entry level product, the 2.4-Metre lengths are 3mm thick. Offered in 60mm or 80mm heights. 
For a lower height garden divider, this solution is a fantastically strong-option.  

We also manufacture a full suite of accompanying Corner Joiners, Internal or External and Joiner Pegs which suit both profile heights (60mm or 80mm). 

Like our premium range, it is all Tool-Less for the installation. Simply assemble into position and mallet your Joiners & Corners into position. 
We've designed this for anyone to do, it is a true DIY product which is used frequently by Landscapers & Garden Designers. 

What makes this 'Budget' compared to our 'Premium Range'?
Great question, whilst the lengths (2.4-Metres) are the same 3mm material, it is really the Joiners & Corner pieces that are different. 
The Budget range of Joiners & Corners are manufactured from 2mm Corten (the same material as the edging), however these are made with only a single upper-holding point on the edging. 
Our Premium 3mm range is 3mm on ALL parts and are designed to hold both the upper and lower edge, this is particularly important when using taller profile edging (118mm, 190mm & 300mm).

Is it still strong?
Yes! Our budget lengths are still 3mm thick corten (rusty steel), the joiners are 2mm. This allows us to keep the cost in reach of anyone.

Due to the lower height profile of this system, the single upper-holding point will not only get the job done - It will last! 
We have NEVER had a return of our Garden Edging product due to quality or warranty issues. We will never sell a product we wouldn't use (and we're picky), this is the ethos of our Aussie business. 

Why offer a Budget range? 
We understand that not everyone has a large enough budget to install our 'Premium' 3mm edging solution, we build our budget range to fit this market. 
Everyone deserves to have an option to purchase quality product that lasts, we build this once so you only have to install it once.
It's simply a great product at a great price.
 

• Note: These are cut raw (silver metal finish) - Over time (a few weeks) you will see the silver finish rust over with a beautiful even rust coating.

• 3mm Corten steel
  This is a weathering steel, designed specifically to form an even rusty finish without flaking like mild steel does.
  This product is used in bridges and harsh environments as it lasts an incredibly long time, whilst giving a beautiful finish. Perfect for Garden use.
• High Tensile Steel
  Corten is a high tensile product, it is 350mpa, mild steel is 250mpa. This makes our product very strong.

We refuse to sell inferior 1.5mm lightweight product. Shipping well made heavy product is expensive, we assume why its unpopular. 
Economies of scale allow us to offer these discounted shipping rates. 

How does this get delivered?

For Palletised Orders >70kg

We strap and wrap your order on a pallet (skid) and we send it (we've shipped all over Australia).
Our carrier will arrive with a tail lift and pallet jack, they will unload it and wheel it onto your property, this means our carrier will require a hard surface to unload. They will NOT leave the package on the street, footpath or any other area deemed unsafe. 
We have great carriers, these are real-people and they want to help, but please be realistic. They can't risk their health to manually lift items into locations.

For Hand-Parcel orders <70kg
These items will be wrapped and sent via a hand parcel delivery.

Steel Product & Safety

Please be mindful of safety when utilising steel edging in your garden. Particularly if you have young children - being children! 
Having a substantial amount above ground is how we have designed our edging to be utilised. This creates a visible barrier for people & animals navigating your garden. 
During the production of steel product, edges can be sharp. Whilst this sharp edge is diminished over-time (Rusting process), it is also possible to quickly run a 'flap-disc' grinding wheel across the edge to remove any sharp edges.

Running our premium range of edging HERE is the safest option as we offer these solutions in a 100mm, 118mm or 190mm high solution. These options also have supporting joiners, corners or pegs etc to suit, these products also make installation much simpler and due to their design, hide any sharp corners etc.
 
Whilst we know some people will bury these products as dividers, the product is designed to be used as edging above ground. We want to remind you about creating a safe environment for your loved ones.
