Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have pool screens?
Yes! We have an 8mm gap option on our screens. Please contact us and we can quote you these for your project.
Are these sealed/oiled?
You choose! We offer both.
We certainly recommend pre-oiled. This will save you considerable time, effort and money.
The pre-oiled screens are oiled prior to assembly, this means the timber is fully coated.
What makes these special?
You are probably used to seeing cheap thin screens sold through a major hardware chain, they are cheap for a reason. Thin timber prone to warping and stapled together with mild steel staples that WILL rust out and fall apart.
Our business model is to produce quality product from another time when Australia had pride in its manufacturing.
How do I attach them?
Depending on your project, you simply pre-drill and screw through the rear braces into your substrate (wall). Another option is to drill and screw through the top rail of your colorbond fence. Some of our customers have simply screwed lengths of decking (90mm x 19mm) horizontally across a metal fence to screw our timber screens to.
They are rigid and strong on their own, this means you can screw them to posts if they are to stand alone, if you want true privacy - Back-to-back screens slightly off-set means you will have no view through the screens.

For Hand-Parcel orders <70kg
These items will be wrapped and sent via a hand parcel delivery.
